This is what is known as the Fan Hub bracket for 1987-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJs. The odd fitment of the 4.0 into the XJ resulted in the mechanical driven fan not being able to bolt onto the water pump. They made this bracket for the belt driven fan to ride on. Whether your bracket needs a bearing or broken bolts for the A/C compressor, here is the brackets your need.

- 1991-2001 Brackets are different, 1991-1995 Uses and idler pulley while 1996 does not. I noticed eBay not telling this and just selling them as 1991-2001 which WILL work but you have to get into different belt routing which I feel is telling the customer a Lie without mentioning this before purchasing. So you CAN use a 1991-2001 if either is out of stock, you would have to run the 1996-2001 Belt routing with that year belt on the 1991-1995 & run the idler pulley on the 96-01 If you got the older bracket.
- I do fix broken bolts on some of these brackets, so they may come with Heli Coils installed.
