- This is the A/C compressor Mounting Bracket on the 1993-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJs with the 4.0 inline Six Cylinder Engines. This bracket bolts onto the head along with the engine block for the A/C compressor to bolt on top of and the dual mount of the alternator bracket to bolt to. This also has the threads for the idler pulley for the proper belt routing.
- These are common to break the A/C bolts off in this bracket or strip, and the idler pulley threads are prone to strip or get ruined from a bad idler pulley bearing. I will inspect all threaded hole before shipping to you. I will clean out the holes if necessary as well.

- 53008445 Use a Bolt & Nut for the Lower Idler Pulley
- 53010224 Has a Threaded Hole for the Lower Idler Pulley
- I did see the option of drilling out and grinding the threaded hole to make it a pass through hole like the 8445 to accept a bolt and nut to salvage a bad part.
- I do fix broken bolts on some of these brackets, so they may come with Heli Coils installed. (This is very Rare on the ZJ Brackets)
