Jeep used many variations of coolant temperature sensors over the years before ending up with the single simple OBD2 styles in 1997 and newer years. In the earlier years they use two separate sensors, one single wire for the gauge or dummy light, along with a double wire one for the engines ECM for running/tuning along with controlling the engines electronic fan. If an uncertainty of which connector you need, send me an email to get the right one selected before ordering the wrong one.
These should work on other Chrysler/dodge products in these years, including 5.2/5.9 V8s along with the 4.7 V8s. I have not added the Renix style yet.
