This is for 1987-2001 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 engines with AW4 Automatic transmission. Its the shifter linkage from the floor to the jeep transfer case. I don't personally believe there is a difference between 231/242 T-case. I will add the option if you need the plate to the transmission/tcase and hopefully get a picture up soon!
