This is the Factory OEM Cable know as the Detent OR Kickdown Cable used on the transmission near the shifter, it attaches to what's known as the detent lever that is inside or above the actual shifting lever. This cable runs to the throttle body on the engine. This is the cable that provides the transmission valve body with throttle input to control proper down and upshifting.
